After long been rumored, the U.S. based Smartphone manufacturer, Motorola announced their newest and long been waiting Moto X. The Smartphone was their first handwork after the company has been taken by Google by acquisition. Dennis Woodside, the Chief Executive Officer of Motorola Mobility said that the device is the first (they) made from the beginning of the acquisition.
Moto X was born without nothing, the gadget had been prepared to compete with the giants of Smartphone that have made a huge step first, whether it is in the market or in the technology they brought to their work. Moto X is equipped with 4,7 inches with 1.280 x 720 pixels with 316ppi pixel density. The Senior Vice President Product Management of Motorola, Rick Osterloh, said that the company came with the idea of equipping the device with a 4,7 inches screen after they spent a lot of time understanding what is the most comfortable screen to be used by most people hands so that the device will fit right in the hands of users. Moreover, the goal of Motorola was to create a Smartphone that will fit in people’s hands so that people will love to bring the Moto X with such comfortable size of the screen. Motorola tried to get the most suitable screen for everyone, Osterloh Explained.
Moto X’s curved body was not by incident implemented in the device. The curved body design was chose by Motorola to accommodate the contour of users’ hands. Although Google had released their newest operation system, the Android 4.3, the Moto X, on the other hand, will be using the Android 4.2.2. Motorola had not given any words regarding the possibility of operation system upgrade to newer Android operation system.
Let’s leave the operation system matters behind and take a peek under Moto X’s hood. Motorola’s new born Smartphone is powered by 1.7 GHz dual core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro. It is also equipped with 2200mAh battery, 2 GB RAM, Near Field Communication, as well as 4.0 Bluetooth. In the United States it will be priced USD 199. 99 and people must patiently wait since Moto X will be released to the market on the late August or the beginning of September.
